My Story: Being a mom of two children, it is not easy for me to train for this climb. I will be carrying 40-45 lbs of weight (that is 40% of my body-weight!) on my back that’s why I am conditioning my body by lifting weights, going on hikes regularly. Though I have done hiking in the past but climbing a mountain especially The Mount Rainier (the most extensively glaciated mountain in USA with a summit elevation of 14,411 ft) is not going to be easy. Mountains make their own weather, so I need to be prepared for everything. I’ve been researching online and ordering all the Gear I’ll need for this climb. I am hopeful and excited in spite of the challenges. And I am grateful for the opportunity to help others by this endeavor.
