Hello Everyone,
My name is Kimaya Daptardar and I am 12 years old. On the weekend of July 15&16, 2023, my mom (Mugdha Kshirsagar) and I will be participating in the long-distance bike ride from Seattle to Portland (STP). This ride is around 206 miles long with a 5000ft+ elevation gain. This will be my first STP and the second one for my mom. We are training very hard since March to achieve this goal. We also successfully did the Flying Wheels ride on 6/3/2023 (another bike event that is organized by Cascade Bicycle Club), which is an important milestone in training for the STP ride.
In addition to achieving the fitness goal to successfully completing the STP, our bigger goal is to raise funds and awareness for the charitable organization ‘Asha for Education’. This organization began as an effort to provide basic education to underprivileged children throughout India.
How can you help?
You can help by contributing towards our goal of raising $900 for the organization. No amount is small and every dollar you donate will go a long way in making a huge positive change in lives of underprivileged children.
Why choose Asha for Education?
Besides their noble cause and work at the grass root levels, Asha is a fully volunteer driven organization and ensuring more than 95% of our donations are sent to their partner groups in India. Click here to learn more about the projects supported by the Asha Seattle chapter, all over India!
Thank You for your time and your donation!!
Note that Asha is a registered 501(c) organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.
