Between the 1am summit pushes, the blisters that became best friends, and my face peeling like a baked samosa (thanks, sun 🌞)… it was brutal and beautiful in the best way.
Oh — and did I mention?
I also draped a saree on every summit because why not mix altitude with attitude 💃🏽
But I didn’t just climb for the views or the summit selfies — I climbed for something bigger. I partnered with Asha for Education for Rainier and Glacier Peak, turning sweat and summit days into fundraising for children’s education in India.
Because sure — volcanoes are tough.
But breaking the cycle of poverty? Tougher.
