Pursuit of growth – a challenge with a purpose
Hi everyone,
As many of you know, I’ve been hiking and climbing every week these past few months. This weekend, I’ll attempt to climb Mount Adams, the second-highest mountain in Washington, standing at 12,276 ft (3,742 m) feet. But this is not just an exercise to get stronger or brag about a summit. I’m doing this to raise funds for Asha for Education, a nonprofit that brings learning opportunities to underprivileged children in India. Each step I hike, I think of the impact that education can make for those disadvantaged kids.
Asha is entirely volunteer-run, and more than 95% of donations go directly to the communities that need them most. That efficiency and impact really spoke to me.
I’ve a goal to raise $800. Every dollar will go toward programs that help children learn, grow, and dream bigger. You can see the projects that Asha Seattle supports here.

📌 And don’t forget to add the note: “Team Asha Climber 2025 Raina Lodha”
I’m asking you to make whatever contribution feels right to you. No amount is too small. Whether it’s $5 or $50, your donation truly matters — not just to me, but to a child who’s waiting for their chance to learn.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. Together, we can summit more than mountains.
Note that Asha for Education is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all donations are fully tax-deductible.
