Hello! This is Jenis and I am excited to be biking 204 miles from Seattle to Portland as part of STP 2017 this July for a HOPE (ASHA)- A hope to bring in someone’s life by giving gift of education, creating a foundation for better life. I will be doing this ride on July 15-16th as a part of fundraising for Seattle team ‘ASHA for education’ – A non-profit organization that primarily focuses on the education of underprivileged kids in India. For past many years, Asha has touched the lives of thousands of children, and their families, providing them with tools and means of empowerment. This is my second time doing the ride with Team Asha and it has been a lot of fun yet challenging riding, training, huffing and puffing on the bike trails of Pacific Northwest every week since March.
Please help me reach my modest goal of raising $500 with any contribution you can make. Every dollar donated makes a huge difference for so many children. It is amazing how far a dollar can go in helping those kids who struggle each day for a better life. Consider this:
- $10 per month will help a child get basic education
- $20 per month will cover the education and living expenses of a child with disability
- $40 per month will help support a primary school of about 25 children
All donations are 100% tax deductible, and Asha is registered with many companies for donation-matching programs. Any contribution you make will help achieve my biking goal and go a long mile in bringing smiles, education, well-being and awareness to children and their communities.
Whatever you contribute, you can rest assured that every dollar will make a positive difference in someone’s life. You can read more about the projects from Seattle Chapter: http://seattle.ashanet.org/home/our-projects/
Please make an online donation or make checks payable to ‘Asha for Education’.
