Tanmay Bhanushali

My name is Tanmay Bhanushali. I have always loved biking, although I never thought that I would be biking over 200 miles! I am participating in the Seattle to Portland bike ride, a whopping 210 miles. This is my first long distance ride, and I have been doing my best biking through the trails of Pacific Northwest every week. The dozens of miles ridden help build courage and determination, but I have an ulterior purpose as well.

I want to take this opportunity to raise awareness about the wonderful work undertaken by “Asha for education”. This organization is a non-profit organization helping children throughout India, founded on the idea of providing a better future for underprivileged communities via education. Asha has touched the lives of thousands of children and their families, empowering them to be able to create a more fruitful and meaningful future.

I request you all to sponsor my STP ride for Asha. Donations are tax-deductible! Every dollar helps, and I hope that my riding can help even one person. My goal is a small sum of 500 dollars in donations, and your help would be greatly appreciated. Five hundred dollars may not seem like much, but it can help a great number of people. By sponsoring my ride, you can be a part of the effort to help.
