This mother’s day I will be running a half marathon to help raise awareness and funds for Adrutas Childrens home. I dedicate this run to all the children who are left motherless. Adruta Childrens Home has been in the existence for the past 8 years, serving orphaned girls ages 1 to 21. This home prides themselves on providing a supportive backbone for girls to thrive. This home is not only a place to live, but also a place for the children to explore extracurricular activities such as dance, music, meditation, painting, etc. The dedication put forward by the children, along with their academic achievements, makes them very well rounded individuals. The money raised will go directly towards supporting 40 kids in the Bhubaneswar, Orissa branch of children homes. This includes meals, clothing, cooking staff, and security. Adruta has successfully thrived without government aid for the past 8 years, please help us in making sure that this home is able to help as many children as possible.
