Hello –
Since the last 10 years I have enjoyed biking and wanted to put my hobby into action with a goal. To do that, I am participating in a 205.5 mile bike ride from Seattle to Portland on July 14th to 15th this year. For my first month of practicing, I trained alone on the trails & hills of the Pacific Northwest. Riding up hills are heart popping and leg breaking – but I heard somewhere “Pain is weakness leaving the body”! That is how we will finish 205.5 miles!
Later in March 2018 I was introduced to the team Asha. Its goal is to provide education to underprivileged kids in India. Education has been one of the mottoes of my family. My grandparents had six kids (4 brothers and 2 sisters) and both of them put efforts in every possible way to give all of them the best education. Now the result is very clear and positive. These six siblings passed on the torch of education to the next generation & that’s why I am in Seattle; because of education.
Without a second thought, I joined Asha’s biking program and now I am going to bike to Portland with a group of people having the same goal in mind – spread education in India. To support Asha’s goal, I have a target of collecting $500 from friends and family which will be used for education projects by Asha. Please help me reach this goal by donating and being a part of a good cause. You can look at some of Asha’s project on this link.
