I have signed up to climb all the 5 volcanoes in Washington, USA and I’m doing it in partnership with the non-profit organization Asha. Together, we’re raising money to support educating underprivileged children in India. As part of this program, I will be climbing Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Adams, Mt. Baker, Glacier Peak and Mt Rainier in a duration of 2 years which completes all the 5 volcanoes in Washington. To put it in numbers, the total elevation I will have to climb is more than 35000 ft to summit all these mountains. Following the approach a fellow climber, Rosario, quantified his climbs, the total amount that I will raise comes to 5.5 cents per feet I will be climbing. I honesty cannot find a better and a nobler way than to raise money for these kids and help motivate myself to keep doing this. Hence, any donations towards the cause will go a long way in terms of supporting the kids and I would highly appreciate the contribution.
