Hi, I am Jutsi and I am biking 206 miles from Seattle to Portland as part of STP 2021. Due to COVID restrictions the traditional outdoor biking event is replaced with a virtual one. Basically, riding same distance indoors minus the scenery.
When Pratik (not sure better but definitely other half) rode the same event in 2018 and then again with Aashi (our 1st born) in 2019, he was super pumped about this whole experience. That inspired me to join in 2020. I started my training last year but due to widespread COVID the event was canceled. This year the event has been moved virtually. I want to push my personal limits and see if I can do it in two days – taking my fitness to next level.
I am training it with and for ‘Asha for Education’, which is a charitable organization that primarily focuses on the education of underprivileged kids in India.
Asha for Education is a secular organization dedicated to change in India by focusing on basic education of underprivileged children in the belief that education is a critical requisite for socio-economic change. They work with a variety of project partners and community groups in many educational and development related endeavors.
