I’m taking on the Baker hike with Asha for Education for a reason that’s deeply personal.
I’ve never been an athlete, and for most of my life, sports and physical challenges weren’t part of who I was. It wasn’t until my 40s that I began my journey into fitness—and it hasn’t been easy. Building endurance, pushing past limits, and staying consistent has taken real effort, discipline, and resilience.
But that’s exactly what makes this journey so meaningful.
This hike is not just about reaching a summit. It’s about proving to myself that growth is possible at any stage of life—and more importantly, using that growth to give back. Through this effort, I’m supporting Asha’s mission to provide education for underprivileged children, opening doors to opportunities they might not otherwise have.
What keeps me going is the incredible support system around me. My husband has been my constant source of encouragement and strength, believing in me even on the days I doubted myself. And the Asha community continues to inspire me with their commitment to making a difference.
This climb represents more than a physical challenge—it’s a journey of transformation, purpose, and hope. And I’m grateful that every step I take can help create a better future for a child.
I would truly appreciate your support for this cause. Please consider contributing to Asha for Education through your generous donation. To make your impact go even further, I will personally match every dollar donated, dollar for dollar.
With your donation, please add a comment that includes my name:
“Team Asha 2026 Aarti Bindlish”.
Thank you so much for being part of this journey and helping make a difference.
