Dear beloved Friends,
I am riding 207 miles from Seattle to Portland this Summer, I am excited to share my inspirations. The 1st source of inspiration is my husband, who crossed the same finish-line last year. The adrenaline rush I felt on finish-line, I made up my mind to bag the experience for my own self. 2nd, I wanted to be an example for my kids to prove ‘There is a will, there is a way!’ and nothing is impossible.
While I challenge my endurance, I wanted to make the efforts enjoyable and safe. What could be better if I can be part of noble cause and achieve all these? I joined ASHA – Biking Program, run by bike lover volunteers who carefully plan out rides for us every week, guide newbies like me and push us little by little closer to the success.
What is ASHA?
ASHA for education is a 100% non-profit organization which is completely volunteer-driven. They support several great causes such as providing educational opportunities to underprivileged kids, lodging /boarding of tribal kids to name a few.
To support ASHA’s goal, I have a target of collecting $500 to be used for education projects by ASHA. Any amount donated will help these incredible causes managed by ASHA’s Seattle Chapter
Asha for Education is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. Donations made are tax deductible.
