Hi,
I’m Arjun Maddali ,I am 11 years old . On the weekend of July 15-16, 2023, my dad(Vidya Vardhan Maddali) and I will be participating in the long-distance bike ride from Seattle to Portland (STP).The STP ride is about 206 miles long.This is my first time doing it on my own bike. Me and my dad have been training hard for this ride every weekend by biking progressively longer rides until it leads to the STP.
Another goal we have for the STP ride is to raise funds and awareness for the charitable organization ‘Asha for Education’ This organization began as an effort to provide basic education to underprivileged children throughout India. Asha is helping local communities combat the perils of illiteracy, poverty, and exploitation by providing them with tools and means of empowerment.
Our goal this year is to raise $1000 for this cause. We appreciate your help in reaching this goal. Additionally we will match every dollar up-to $1000 of total donations. We are thankful that my dad’s employer “Microsoft” will match every dollar he donates. So your donation will have 3X impact.
