Hi there!
My name is Aaryan and I am biking with my dad, Mayur, 206 miles from Seattle to Portland as part of STP 2019 on July 13-14 with Bike for Asha!
This is our first long distance ride and it has been a lot of fun riding, training and huffing & puffing, on the bike trails of Pacific Northwest every week since March.
Also, we are very happy that this provides us an opportunity to raise donations for ‘Asha for Education’, a charitable organization that primarily focuses on the education of underprivileged kids in India.
All donations are tax deductible and the organization is registered with many corporate employers for donation-matching programs.
Why do we support ‘Asha for Education’?
Asha for Education is a secular organization dedicated to change in India by focusing on basic education of underprivileged children in the belief that education is a critical requisite for socio-economic change. They work with a variety of project partners and community groups in many educational and development related endeavors.
