Hello all,
On the weekend of July 15-16, 2023 I will be participating in the long-distance bike ride from Seattle to Portland (STP), which is 206 miles long. My goal is to complete this ride over two days, for which I have been training since March 2023 and gradually cranking up the distance every week towards my 2-day goal. My bigger goal for the STP ride is to raise funds and awareness for ‘Asha for Education’, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing about socio-economic change in India primarily through education. Asha is helping local communities combat the perils of illiteracy, poverty, and exploitation by providing them with tools and means of empowerment. This will be my second year of participation in this ride and am excited to contribute to a noble cause while continuing to challenge myself!
