Hello from Dhwani and Devang Shah,
Dhwani here, I am so excited to announce that I am participating in a 204 mile bike ride from Seattle to Portland on July 14th to 15th this year (aka STP 2018.)
This is my first time with a long-distance ride and it has been a lot of fun riding, training, huffing and puffing on the bike trails of Pacific Northwest every week since March. Also, I am very happy that this provides me an opportunity to raise donations for ‘Asha for Education’, a charitable organization that primarily focuses on the education of underprivileged kids in India.
By riding 204 miles bike and running for Marathon, our goal is to raise $750 so that we can support giving education to unprivileged kids in India. Just because of education, we are able to enjoy life with our son here in USA.
Please help us reach our modest goal of raising $750 with any contribution you can make. Every dollar donated makes a huge difference for so many children. It is amazing how far a dollar can go in helping those kids who struggle each day for a better life. Consider this:
- $120 will help a child get basic education for full academic year ($240 will cover education and living expenses for child with disability)
Asha for Education is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. Donation you make is tax deductible.
Team Asha Seattle has three programs – biking, running and climbing [ Asha Seattle Chapter Programs]. And having participated in each of these programs, I have seen the value of each small steps to reach the destination. Similarly, each donation – big or small, matters towards the goal.
How can you help?
You can help by making a donation using one of the following ways.
