Hello everyone,
I am Jiya & I am training for a 207-mile, 2 day bike ride from Seattle to Portland this year.
My prime source of inspiration is my little sister Jaanya, who did the same bike ride last year at the age of just 8 years old. When I saw her crossing the finish line, I resolved to do the same so I could feel the same ecstasy I saw on her face when she got there.

So, I am now doing training rides with my dad weekly. At first, it seemed like an unattainable goal that would be very hard to reach. But with motivation from my family and Asha’s amazing training, my ride distances started increasing mile by mile, and the elevation started adding up foot by foot. The best part is that I barely feel the difference now.
After doing 70-miles Flying Wheels in June, it really sank in that I have it in me to do this.
Let the roll begin !!
