My name is Nishant Vats and above quotes have always inspired me .
I always wanted to live close to nature and Seattle provided the opportunity. I started hiking and exploring the beauty of pacific northwest . While hiking I always thought how I can give back to society and nature. This quest led me to ASHA group. I have always vouched that education is essential tool to bring social and economic change in India. Education has played critical role in my life and I am sure you too agree that education is best gift you can give to any child. Therefore, I decided to raise funds for education for underprivileged kids in India through ASHA . I commit to climb Mt.Rainier and Mt.Baker to raise funds.
Am I ready for Rainier/Baker Summit?
I have been training hard to make sure I am mentally and physically ready as I need to climb with more than 40 pounds of backpack 😊 . During week I practice in gym and local park while on weekend I wake up at 3:30 am to hike in mountains.
On weekend you can find me on following mountains with backpack:
Tiger Mountain, Mount Si, Mailbox Tenerife Mountain

My fund-raising goal is $1500
I would like to clarify that the funds being raised here are not financing my climbs in any way. I have provided the finances for the gear and guide services for those myself. All the funds raised will be exclusively used for Asha for Education projects
