When goals align with your passion, magic happens. One such goal is to ride the bike 205 miles from Seattle to Portland as part of STP 2018 on July 14-15. This goal has allowed me to pick up long-distance bicycle riding around different routes of marvelous Pacific Northwest. The passion to bring smiles on kids’ faces as part of ‘Asha for Education’ organization helps each pedal stroke that much fun. Now I need your help to make the magic happen for these kids as we raise $500 or more for ‘Asha for Education’.
Team Asha Seattle has three programs – biking, running and climbing [ Asha Seattle Chapter Programs]. And having participated in each of these programs, I have seen the value of each small steps to reach the destination. Similarly, each donation – big or small, matters towards the goal.
Why Asha for Education?
Asha is a “Zero-overhead” organization, completely driven by volunteers (including the administrative expenses) ensuring 100% of your donations are sent to our partner groups in India. Beginning as an organization working to bring education to underprivileged children, Asha’s mission today has grown to rejuvenate the entire community these children live in and holistically improve not just their own lives but those of their families as well.
