Hi there,
Every year hundreds of participants from many states and countries take part in the STP ride; they bike the 208 miles from Seattle to Portland. Being able to power yourself and your bike over that distance is an exercise in metal and physical endurance and its been great fun preparing for it this summer.
Apart from being a personal challenge, this also gives me the opportunity to raise funds for Asha for Education. What began as an effort to provide basic education to underprivileged children throughout India, has grown into an effort to provide a better foundation for local communities to combat the perils of illiteracy, poverty and exploitation.
