My name is Ashwath Srinivasan and I am running the Big Backyard 5k in Redmond in June to raise funds for Junior Asha and its affiliated programs as part of Asha for Education. I started running when I was 8 years old and have been a part of the track and cross country team at my middle and high school. I love running and the endorphins it brings. I wanted to use my Love for running to raise awareness and support the organization Asha for Education, Seattle.
Junior Asha (JA) is the youth wing of Asha for Education – Seattle Chapter, and functions under its umbrella. Asha is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to bringing about socio-economic change in India primarily through education. JA has been in existence since 2009. JA kids decided to adopt one of Asha’s projects, Adruta Childrens Home , as a project of choice to support with our fund raising efforts.
I request you all to please donate towards this cause and encourage me while bettering the lives of these children at Adruta. All your donations are Tax deductible. Please mention “Ashwath Srinivasan Junior Asha” while making your donation.
Thanks to all of you for supporting me in my endeavor.
Ashwath Srinivasan
