Pranav Rastogi

I’m climbing Mt. Rainier with the Climb for Asha program in 2016. I have been hiking in the Pacific Northwest for a long time and summiting Rainier has always been my dream. This year, I am getting an opportunity to climb with my friends and I hope we all will summit.

Our goal is to raise funds for programs supported by the Seattle Chapter of Asha for Education.

What is Asha?

Asha is a secular, non-profit, and all volunteer driven organization working towards socio-economic change in India. Their main focus is to empower the marginalized communities through education primarily for women and children. The GRAVIS project is one such project supported by Asha and the climbing program.

How can you help?

I also request you to donate towards my goal of raising 1500 USD. All donations big or small are equal and will go a long way towards bringing smiles, education, well-being of the children and the communities. All donations are tax-deductible.

I pledge all my donation towards GRAVIS. Here’s an independent evaluation of the Asha supported work done by GRAVIS since 2008.  PBS news hour had a segment on mineworkers in Rajasthan. It shows some of the work done by GRAVIS:

Thank you for your support.
