My STP Journey
Hi everyone! This past weekend (July 11–12), I completed the 206-mile Seattle to Portland (STP) bike ride in two days to support Asha, a nonprofit that provides quality education to underprivileged children in India.
More Than a Ride
I had been training for a few weeks, but life had other plans. I had to travel to India after my dad passed away, and I thought I wouldn’t be able to do STP this year because I missed a few of my most crucial training rides.
During this phase, I kept thinking about how my dad always encouraged me to pursue my goals. His answer was always, “Yes, go for it.” Remembering his words gave me the strength to continue with STP and make him proud.
This ride is dedicated to my dad — his love, encouragement, and belief in me.
