Hello All,

I am starting a fundraiser with “Asha For Education” to help uplift and educate the needy in India. I am going to climb Mt.Shuksan in the state of Washington and hike across the Grand Canyon to raise funds for the same.

I like climbing mountains for the cheer joy the whole process gives me. And I cannot be happier, if I can help few people in need doing something I love the most.

We are going through desperate times right now. It goes without saying that, myself and most of you reading this are lucky to have enough resources to tackle the situation. However, there are many who need help for their basic survival and can greatly benefit from your generous contributions.

COVID-19 Relief Efforts

In this time of unprecedented crisis, our volunteers on the ground, at great risk to themselves, are taking enormous efforts to help the needy. Some of these include:

Our volunteers in Varanasi are distributing survival essentials to hundreds of families under lockdown! They also ensure the government schemes reach the most rural communities.
250+ families belonging to the Musahar, Dalit and other backward communities in Nagepur, Uttar Pradesh were provided with essential supplies for one month.
300+ underprivileged communities in Bhilai, Chattisgarh were provided with dry ration and several people who were on the road walking to their villages were provided with meals.
100+ families mostly comprising of daily wage laborers, transgender communities in Tirlokpuri, Delhi who do not have a ration card were provided with dry ration for 1 month.
500+ families of migrant laborers in Kanpur were provided with dry ration for a month.
