I’m Snehal, and again this year in July I will be biking from Seattle to Portland (over 200 miles). This is my third year participating in this organized ride. All these years, I have been very fortunate to be able to train with Team Asha bikers. They have motivated me, pushed me to stretch my limits and do a little better every year. This year in addition to STP, I will also be participating in Gran Fondo Whistler, which goes from Vancouver to Whistler along the Sea-to-Sky highway.
I want to take this opportunity to raise awareness about the wonderful work undertaken by “Asha – for education”. What began as an effort to provide basic education to underprivileged children throughout India, has grown into a effort to provide a better foundation for local communities to combat the perils of illiteracy, poverty and exploitation. Asha has touched the lives of thousands of children, and their families, providing them with tools and means of empowerment. Learn more about projects by Asha on Ashanet.
I’m willing to support this noble cause by raising funds for Asha and invite you to do the same. I have a very modest goal to raise at least $500. Help me reach my goal and I promise to match your contributions dollar-to- dollar.
